World’s Largest OLED Earth by Mitsubishi Electric
Located at The National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Tokyo, the “Geo-Cosmos” is the world’s first and biggest spherical OLED, updated constantly with real-time weather information and temperature fluctuations. The technomagical globe is an aluminium sphere covered with 10,362 organic LED panels, with the display delivering a resolution of more than 10 million pixels, about 10 times greater than that of an LED display.
